|1915 Packard - model 5-48 (?)|
I believe this to be a 1915 Packard model 5-48 Touring. Packard offered two models in 1915, the 3-38 and 5-48, both 6-cylinder cars - and honestly, it's difficult to distinguish between the two (this could be a mode 3-38 touring). 1915 was a landmark year for Packard, as McCauley took over the presidency and introduced the model I-35 (soon to be called the Twin-Six) in May of 1915 as a new 1916 model. The car shown here appears to have been photographed around 1948. The photo is stamped on the back: Frany Killam (?), Fine Photographers; I can make out the place name, could be New York or New Hampshire.
If anyone can better identify this car, please leave me comment - thanks.
